Fall is at our fingertips. If you’re anything like me, you can’t wait for that crisp, cool air. It’s about time that humidity high-tailed it out of here, and we welcome in falling leaves and comfortable temps. With fall comes changes in wardrobe and new fun trends to embrace. There are a few fall staples I’m keeping front and center in my closet this season. These are pieces I’ll be wearing on repeat, and for good reason, too!

A leather jacket is a staple any season, but lately, I’ve seen them in all different shapes, colors, and fabrics. Suede, green, boxy, orange, fitted. This timeless wardrobe addition has no limit. The leather jacket is making a statement, and you’ll want to do the same this fall. The best part about it? You can find one for any price. Under $50 or over $500, the color and style options are endless. I’m looking forward to wearing one with ripped skinnies, heels, and a basic tank once 110 degrees isn’t in the forecast!

Booties are another favorite in my closet. No matter your style, this shoe is versatile enough to complete any ensemble. Skirt, skinnies, shorts, dresses, you’ll be hooked at the first wear. The peep-toe trend is the perfect transition to fall. Your feet will be covered and warm well into the end of the year. I’ve been waiting all summer to wear this cozy, casual fall outfit!

Oversized sweaters and cardigans are nothing new. What started as a trend is here to stay. I’m not upset about it, but it’s caused an unhealthy obsession with picking one up every time I shop. The oversized sweater has been the best invention since….well, ever. It’s no secret that these adaptable tops can transform any outfit. But this fall, I’m excited to pair them with pieces I haven’t in the past! Over maxi dresses and on top of miniskirts is a look I’m googly-eyed over this upcoming season!

Over the knee boots are my favorite fashion staple to date. They’re anything but ordinary. Their ability to take any style from casual to sexy gives them a 10 in my book. The length and fit of the boot will make your legs go on for miles. Try a brown suede style with a bell sleeved dress and vest. Maybe even a black pair with a mini and a fun sweater or blouse. Throw on a wide brimmed hat for your new favorite fall look. Over the knee boots are my favorite yet and the one shoe I reach for to add that classy, head-turning edge to any outfit.

Fall may bring a change in your wardrobe, but that doesn’t mean dropping everything you own for new pieces to fill your closet. Versatility is key when finding trends you love and transitioning from season to season. My favorite fall staples will take you straight into winter, and even through the end of summer. Find that creative edge that makes your wardrobe you and creates outfits you’ll be dying to show off this fall!
